ARCO National Construction completed a 21,515-square-foot meat distribution facility expansion for Weeks Food Corporation in Richmond, Michigan. The project includes a 10,231-square-foot 34°F to 36°F cooler, a 6,232-square-foot 36°F cold dock, a 4,795-square-foot -10°F freezer, insulated metal panel construction, fire-rated IMP to separate cold storage spaces without the use of fire suppression systems, a 60-mil TPO roof system, 28’ clear height, six dock positions, 1,200-amp electrical service, a Freon refrigeration system, and site development including city utility connections and decommissioning and removal of the existing sanitary field system.
