Safety

THE SAFE WAY.
THE ARCO WAY.

At ARCO, safety is our first priority. We are dedicated not only to making the construction process enjoyable and beneficial, but to ensuring safe and injury free working environments for our associates, subcontractors and clients. We view risk management and the health and safety of each associate and subcontractor as our most important priority and vital to our operations.

THE ARCO SAFE MISSION

The goal of ARCO’s safety program is to eliminate accidents and injuries, and preserve property during the construction process.

EMR

ARCO’s current EMR is 0.58. Year after year, we strive to maintain an excellent EMR rating well below the industry average of 1.00.

MINIMUM CERTIFICATIONS & TRAINING

100% of ARCO construction team personnel are certified in First Aid / CPR / AED and OSHA 10-hour at a minimum. Superintendents are also required to complete their 30-hour OSHA certification. Each year, ARCO team members complete hundreds of hours of additional safety training to enhance their knowledge of project specific challenges.

WEEKLY JOBSITE INSPECTIONS

ARCO believes in the importance of regular safety inspections so much that we created a proprietary app for our team to utilize on their sites. The 152-point checklist is designed to be comprehensive and is inclusive of all aspects of our high standards for safety.
