ARCO recently completed a 71,400 SF cannabis grow facility for Temescal Wellness in North Adams, Massachusetts. The facility will increase the company’s production and cultivation capacity, allowing it to expand its portfolio of product offerings for consumers throughout the region. The facility is now fully operational, creating 80 jobs and producing 300 pounds of marijuana a week.
The highly automated facility features equipment such as a flower packaging line, fertigation system, movable growing bench, pot filler, a transplanter, and table return crane. The automation features were included to decrease the handling of plants.
In addition to interior upgrades, structural upgrades to the existing facility to accommodate new equipment and lighting. The renovation project included a 61,800 SF production area, 23,500 SF plant canopy, a -20 F freezer and freeze-drying vault, and LED lighting including 1,376 grow lights.
