Plant Prefab

Designed and built for Scannell Properties, the Plant Prefab project consists of a 252,000-total-square-foot manufacturing facility for custom, prefabricated panelized and modular building components.

This 252,000 SF manufacturing facility is designed with efficiency and flexibility in mind. It includes a 245,000 SF warehouse and a 7,000 SF office, providing ample space for production and administrative operations. The structure features tilt-up concrete construction, known for its durability and cost-effectiveness, and a 45-mil TPO roof system, ensuring energy efficiency and long-term weather protection. With a 32' clear height, the facility offers substantial vertical space for storage and production equipment.

The building is powered by a 2,000-amp electrical service, supporting high-demand manufacturing processes. It is equipped with an ESFR sprinkler system for fire safety, 10 dock positions to streamline loading and unloading, and nine drive-thru doors to enhance workflow flexibility. Additionally, six 5-ton cranes are installed, providing the capability to lift and move heavy materials efficiently throughout the facility.

This facility serves as Plant Prefab’s first automated production plant, specifically designed to produce custom, prefabricated panelized and modular building components. Compressed air systems are integrated across the plant, ensuring smooth operation of pneumatic tools and machinery. This modern facility marks a significant step forward in automated manufacturing, designed to meet the growing demand for high-quality, sustainable building solutions.
