Designed and built for Scannell Properties, the BAE Systems project consists of a 333,750-total-square-foot aerospace component manufacturing facility.

The 333,750 SF aerospace component manufacturing facility is designed for high-performance production with 50' x 50' interior bays and a 7” thick unreinforced concrete floor slab, providing a strong foundation for heavy machinery and equipment. The facility features 40,469 SF of office space, complemented by a 4,000 SF wellness and fitness area and a 7,700 SF kitchen and cafeteria to support employee well-being. A prominent curtain wall entrance enhances the building's aesthetics, providing a modern and inviting entry point for employees and visitors.

Constructed with load-bearing tilt-up concrete wall panels, the building ensures structural integrity and durability. The fully adhered 60-mil EPDM roof system offers reliable weatherproofing, while the wet fire protection system enhances safety across the facility. Electrical power is distributed through a 12,470 SF medium voltage switchgear, supported by a 12,000-amp electrical service to meet the high-energy demands of aerospace manufacturing.

The facility also includes 156,000 SF of Unistrut ceiling grid system for versatile support of lighting, electrical systems, and equipment and electro-static dissipative flooring to minimize static electricity, crucial for sensitive aerospace components. Process piping systems include RO water, chilled water, and both low- and high-pressure compressed air systems, ensuring the facility is fully equipped for advanced manufacturing processes.
