Designed and built for Intersect Development Group and Northrop Grumman, this project consists of a 180,000-total-square-foot classified program manufacturing and production facility.

This project consists of an approximately 180,000 SF office and specialized production facility designed to support classified program development, testing, integration, and manufacturing operations. The building includes approximately 40,000 SF of office space, including 4,000 SF of premium office finishes, and approximately 140,000 SF of classified program production space. The facility incorporates dedicated areas for classified testing, communications security (COMSEC) storage, program integration, development, rack assembly, surge capacity, and equipment storage, providing a controlled environment for specialized technical operations.

The production area includes six intermediate distribution frame (IDF) rooms with independent climate control to support critical communications infrastructure. Electrical distribution includes approximately 800 linear feet of 400-amp bus duct, providing power to production equipment and workstations. Material handling is supported by two 10-ton overhead bridge cranes operating along a 660-foot runway, allowing movement of heavy equipment and assemblies throughout the facility.

Mechanical systems include nineteen rooftop HVAC units providing complete climate control across the building, along with two 20-horsepower air compressors connected to a Transair compressed air piping system. Specialized flooring includes approximately 80,000 SF of three-layer high-wear epoxy flooring with moisture barrier primer and 1,000 SF of three-layer acid-resistant epoxy flooring, providing durable surfaces for demanding production processes. The project was engineered to deliver a high-capacity, climate-controlled manufacturing environment with integrated technical infrastructure, specialized material handling systems, and dedicated spaces for classified program operations.
