Graphic Packaging International

Designed and built for DHL, the Graphic Packaging International project is a 1,272,48- total-square-foot campus including a 479,780-square-foot, SQF-certified manufacturing facility and a 792,700-square-foot distribution facility.

This 1,272,480 SF campus consists of two major facilities designed for large-scale manufacturing and distribution, making it fully equipped for high-volume, efficient operations with advanced technologies and robust infrastructure to support modern industrial demands.

Building 1 is a 479,780 SF, SQF-certified manufacturing facility featuring a 37,500 SF, 10" reinforced concrete slab to support the installation of three state-of-the-art printing presses. The equipment is stabilized on auger cast pier foundations, and the facility is powered by six 4,000-amp electrical services. Safety is ensured with an ESFR fire suppression system backed by a water storage tank. The facility also utilizes automatic guided vehicles (AGVs) for internal material movement, operating under 69' girder spans. Site prep included soil cement stabilization for the building pad and pavement areas, alongside a 10' moisture-conditioned pad. The facility includes an extensive piping system with 3,000 LF of compressed air connected to three compressors and 2,800 LF of chilled water supply. Lifting operations are supported by a 25-ton bridge crane and two 0.5-ton hoists.

Building 2 is a 792,700 SF distribution center featuring a 250,000 SF, 10" reinforced concrete slab. Similar to the manufacturing facility, it is equipped with an ESFR fire suppression system and utilizes AGVs for efficient warehouse operations. The distribution center is two-line rail served with an exterior rail dock for seamless transportation. The site also underwent soil cement stabilization to ensure a durable and stable foundation for both the pad and pavement areas.
