ARCO National Construction Continues Partnership with DrinkPAK on Large-Scale Beverage Manufacturing Facilities

ARCO National Construction is proud to continue its partnership with DrinkPAK, a leading canned beverage contract manufacturer, through the delivery of large-scale beverage manufacturing facilities in major U.S. markets.

Following the completion of DrinkPAK’s 1.4-million-square-foot beverage manufacturing tenant improvement project in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, ARCO is partnering with the company on a second 1.4-million-square-foot beverage manufacturing facility in the Bellwether District of South Philadelphia. Together, these projects reflect DrinkPAK’s rapid national growth and ARCO’s continued role in delivering high-capacity, technically complex manufacturing environments for the beverage industry.

DrinkPAK’s growth is driven by increasing demand for contract beverage manufacturing as both emerging and established brands look to scale production, expand product offerings, and respond to changing consumer preferences. The rise of ready-to-drink, functional, alcoholic, and better-for-you beverage categories has created demand for flexible, high-output co-manufacturing facilities capable of supporting multiple product types and packaging formats.

ARCO’s work with DrinkPAK reflects this broader industry shift. In Texas, the completed facility supports production of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including energy drinks, sodas, waters, hard seltzers, canned cocktails, and more. Operational capabilities include a high-acid production line capable of producing 1,600 cans per minute and an automated variety pack line capable of producing 1,200 cans per minute.

The Philadelphia facility will further expand DrinkPAK’s national manufacturing capacity, with four ultra-high-speed filling lines capable of producing up to 3,000 cans per minute each, along with an automated variety repacking line designed to produce multi-flavor cartons and trays at speeds up to 2,000 cans per minute.

Both DrinkPAK projects demonstrate the scale and infrastructure required to support modern beverage manufacturing. The Fort Worth facility includes an 80,000-square-foot production area with two production lines, quality control lab space, mixing areas, production and general office space, and an 11,500-square-foot 40°F cooler. Multiple electrical services, including three 3,000 amp services, support the facility’s high-capacity production systems.

In Philadelphia, the high-acid beverage manufacturing facility will include a 15,000-square-foot 40°F cooler, a 22,000-square-foot office, and 40-foot clear height. The facility shell is also pursuing LEED® Silver certification, reflecting a focus on long-term performance and sustainable development.

DrinkPAK’s investment in advanced beverage manufacturing is also creating significant economic impact in the markets it enters. The Dallas-Fort Worth expansion is projected to generate approximately 1,000 new full-time jobs by 2026 as part of a broader investment in manufacturing infrastructure across North Texas.

In Philadelphia, the project is expected to generate 175 full-time job opportunities by 2028, contributing to the region’s growing advanced manufacturing sector.

The Philadelphia facility marks the second project ARCO and DrinkPAK have partnered on, following the successful completion of the Fort Worth facility. As DrinkPAK continues expanding its national footprint, ARCO’s design-build experience, manufacturing expertise, and ability to deliver large-scale facilities provide the consistency and execution needed to support high-growth operations.

Through its partnership with DrinkPAK, ARCO continues to support the development of advanced beverage manufacturing infrastructure that helps brands scale production, improve speed-to-market, and meet demand across rapidly growing beverage categories.
