ARCO recently joined Azuria Water Solutions, state and local officials, and community leaders to celebrate the groundbreaking of a new 72,000-square-foot Fusible PVC® (FPVC) Pipe manufacturing facility in Batesville, Mississippi. The $80 million investment marks the first plant in the United States dedicated exclusively to the production of Fusible PVC Pipe and is expected to create 50 new jobs in the region.
The new manufacturing facility will be constructed adjacent to Azuria’s existing Insituform Technologies facility at 160 Corporate Drive, which has operated in Batesville since 1988 and currently employs more than 150 area residents. Underground Solutions, an Azuria portfolio company, will operate the new plant, delivering infrastructure technology products for water, sewer, and conduit systems used across municipal and industrial applications.
Once complete, the facility will manufacture Fusible PVC Pipe through a specialized process that blends PVC resin with proprietary additives before forming, cooling, cutting, bundling, and preparing the pipe products for shipment. The products will support critical water, wastewater, electrical, and communication infrastructure systems nationwide.

ARCO is providing design-build services for the project, continuing the company’s commitment to delivering complex industrial and manufacturing facilities across the country.

Construction is expected to be completed in early 2027, with hiring anticipated to begin in late 2026.
