ARCO National Construction’s Detroit division is partnering with Frontier Distributing on an 8,635-square-foot cold storage facility renovation project, supporting the company’s distribution of independent pet food brands across Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. The renovation is taking place inside the company’s existing distribution facility located at 201 E. Drahner Road in Oxford, Michigan.
The project includes insulated metal panel (IMP) “box-in-a-box” construction with a 7,300 SF rack supported freezer and 1,335 SF cooler/vestibule space designed to support efficient cold storage operations and product handling requirements. Additional features include a split commercial freon refrigeration system and underfloor heating.
The project marks a new partnership between ARCO and Frontier Distributing and reflects ARCO’s continued experience delivering cold storage facilities tailored to operational and temperature-controlled requirements.
