ARCO National Construction has completed a 125,400-square-foot build-to-suit distribution facility for Zippy Shell in Tampa, Florida. The project was designed to support the company’s logistics and storage operations while providing room for future growth within the region.
The facility includes 123,200 square feet of warehouse space and 1,400 square feet of office space. Constructed using tilt-up concrete with a conventional steel structure and shallow concrete foundations, the building was designed for durability and long-term operational performance.
The warehouse features a 32-foot clear height, four dock positions, and two drive-in ramps to support distribution and material handling activities. Additional building systems include a 45-mil TPO roof system, 2,000 amp electrical service, and a wet pipe ESFR fire protection system.
The project was developed on a 10-acre site and includes 137 car parking spaces. Site development improvements included installation of a 5-foot by 7-foot precast concrete box culvert to reroute an existing drainage way, along with three retaining walls constructed to support stormwater detention ponds and overall site drainage.
The completed facility provides Zippy Shell with a modern distribution hub designed to support efficient logistics operations in the Tampa market.
