ARCO National Construction has completed a 79,529-square-foot multi-unit warehouse storage facility renovation for WareSpace in Charlotte, North Carolina. The project transformed an existing CMU and brick industrial building into a modern micro-warehouse facility designed to support flexible storage and workspace solutions for small and growing businesses.
The renovated facility includes 73,130 square feet of warehouse space and 4,329 square feet of office space. The building features seven dock positions, two drive-in ramps, and two entries to support operational access and distribution activities.
As part of the renovation scope, ARCO installed a new TPO roof overlay and upgraded the facility with high-bay LED lighting and 600 amp electrical service. The warehouse includes a racking wall system featuring uprights, beams, shelving, sheet metal wall panels, diamond plates, and trim to support adaptable tenant configurations.
Additional improvements included upgrades and modifications to existing fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and fire alarm systems to support the facility’s updated operational requirements. Exterior enhancements included facility painting and repairs to improve overall building appearance and long-term durability.
The completed project supports WareSpace’s continued expansion of its micro-warehouse concept, delivering flexible industrial space designed to accommodate a variety of business users within the Charlotte market.
