ARCO National Construction recently celebrated the completion of a 146,409 SF distribution facility for Hines. The 8.6-acre in-fill Class A industrial development is strategically located in Chelsea, Massachusetts, just two miles from Boston Logan International Airport and three miles from downtown Boston. The facility features a flexible design, with space for single or multi-tenant end-users looking to enhance their last-mile market capabilities for e-commerce and freight shipping.
The state-of-the-art facility features patterned precast wall construction, 36’ clear height, 36 dock positions, and 202 car parking spaces. Additionally, the site connects the local community along the waterfront allowing residential neighborhoods to coexist with the facility by including unique features such as the addition of walkways, seating areas, and lush landscaping. A 3,000 SF cast-in-place retaining wall was also installed onsite.
