ARCO recently completed a 118,660 SF build-to-suit distribution facility two months ahead of schedule for Brennan Investment Group and Zippy Shell Incorporated, a portable storage and moving company that delivers storage containers directly to users’ homes or businesses. Strategically located in Bartlett, Illinois, the new facility will allow Zippy Shell to serve both the north and western suburbs of Chicago. Facility features include a 14,400 SF repair center, 32’ clear height, four dock positions, three drive-in ramps, and a 1,114 SF office.

Throughout construction, ARCO implemented several proactive solutions to finish the project early, including expediting earthwork and foundation preparations to begin precast panel erection ahead of schedule and working diligently to maintain the integrity of the building pad throughout winter. Additionally, ARCO began communication with the utility companies in the project’s early stages and throughout construction to ensure there were no delays when getting power to the building.
