From The Client
“I wanted to express our gratitude for your company’s workmanship, partnership and strategy. The original path with a ‘wrong fit’ general contractor/design firm team cost us 6 months and significant expense. When we met, I asked ARCO to step in and offer some suggestions on how to rectify this difficult situation. You knew exactly what to do, rallied your team, and developed a solid plan.
The solution developed by ARCO’s team of experts led us all to see the many flaws in our initial concept and improved project management opportunities. First, we would have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on a foundation that did not fully account for the geotechnical rock barriers. The building was also designed to be two levels, significantly increasing refrigeration costs vs a one floor layout. In addition, the design included expensive and inefficient corners. The ARCO team brought in practical knowledge and fundamental experience to dial in estimated costs, solidify operational costs and ultimately drive our project to success. Your advice to do additional Geotechnical sampling saved us a lot of money. ARCO’s ideas to improve fire suppression and facility best use of space, saved us construction costs and operational costs. Your drive to help us stay under construction budget was very helpful and appreciated.
One of the kudos I would like to add, is your process of proposal, to contract, change orders, and impeccable follow up on details. Your project manager, Ethan Kroh, was simply remarkable. We did take our time on decisions and we would throw changes or curve balls, but Ethan and the ARCO team always came through. The process was easy to follow, managing the budget costs were simple, and the details were straight forward. We especially appreciated the alternatives and value engineering that your team offered as considerations for our team to think about. Jennifer on the design team at GMA, really understood our culture and needs. The ARCO leadership team, including Brandon Lemmons, checked in at the right times and was very helpful to make sure we were satisfied throughout the journey.
When we had issues, we really felt like there was teamwork to see all sides of the problem and come to a win-win solution. ARCO was responsive and took action during challenging weather related or personnel related issues arose. The communication skills and steadiness of Ethan and Brandon through the entire project was refreshing. I felt that I needed to express this to you, so that others may have confidence in knowing that ARCO has expert skill and high integrity. We truly bonded with the ARCO team as friends and partners. I would highly recommend ARCO National to others. This facility is a state-of-the art distribution center for Hunt Brothers® Pizza as a brand and as a master distribution center for Hunt Advantage Group, LLC.”
