Shetakis Wholesalers

Designed and built for Shetakis Wholesalers, this cold storage project is a 170,000 total square foot foodservice distribution facility in North Las Vegas, Nevada.

This project consists of an approximately 170,000 SF foodservice distribution facility, including a 70,000 SF warehouse expansion and office addition integrated into an active operation. The scope includes a 60,000 SF dry warehouse, a 5,000 SF two-story office addition, and a 1,800 SF mechanical room, supporting expanded distribution capacity and administrative functions. The warehouse is designed with a 31-foot clear height to accommodate racking and material handling requirements.

Construction utilizes tilt-up concrete warehouse walls and a 60-mil mechanically attached TPO roof system for durability and long-term performance. Interior systems include motion-sensor-activated fluorescent lighting and evaporative cooling within the warehouse to improve energy efficiency and occupant comfort. Fire protection is provided by an ESFR fire protection system designed for foodservice distribution operations.

Shipping and receiving operations are supported by eleven dock doors equipped with dock levelers, allowing efficient inbound and outbound logistics. The project was engineered to expand operational capacity while maintaining continuity of existing foodservice distribution functions.
