ARCO BREAKS GROUND ON EXPANSION PROJECT FOR REPEAT CLIENT PERFORMANCE FOOD GROUP

ARCO’s Kansas City division recently celebrated the groundbreaking of a cold storage facility expansion for repeat client Performance Food Group! Located in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, the expansion will add more than 55,000 SF of space to the company’s existing facility and will include 34,458 SF of dry warehouse space, an 8,755 SF -10°F freezer, 28°F and 34°F coolers totaling 8,099 SF, and a 3,846 SF break room addition.

The project comes in response to Performance Food Group’s continued growth and need for additional capacity. Performance Food Group expects the project to create more local jobs, including positions for drivers, warehouse workers, office staff, and sales associates. The newly expanded facility will service customers in multiple states, including Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska.

With a partnership spanning more than 20 years, this is just one of more than 35 projects ARCO and Performance Food Group have partnered to complete.
