FOODSERVICE DISTRIBUTION FACILITY TENANT IMPROVEMENT IN PORTLAND, OR
Designed and Built for Performance Food Group and Vistar, this cold storage project is a 69,725 total square foot foodservice distribution facility tenant improvement.
The 69,725 SF foodservice distribution facility tenant improvement enhances operational capacity and efficiency with purpose-built features to support the handling of perishable and frozen goods. This includes a 13,280 SF -10°F freezer and a 6,200 SF 36°F freezer, ensuring the proper storage and preservation of temperature-sensitive products. The design also incorporates a 36°F cool dock, streamlining logistics and maintaining the cold chain during loading and unloading processes.
Constructed with insulated metal panels (IMP) for superior thermal performance, the facility expansion also features additional dry storage space and an office area to support administrative and operational functions. The battery charging area was relocated and expanded to optimize material handling equipment usage, contributing to increased productivity and operational efficiency.
This project aligns with modern standards for foodservice distribution, addressing growing demands while maintaining a focus on energy efficiency and functionality.
