Lonza

Designed and built for Lonza, this project is a 315,000-square-foot pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

This 315,000 SF pharmaceutical manufacturing facility was completed in multiple phases and combines efficient design, flexible production capabilities, and a highly functional layout for the pharmaceutical industry. It is designed with temperature control via a central chilled water system, allowing for flexible modular manufacturing pods to accommodate various client needs.

Phase one of the facility stands at 42 feet tall, featuring 98,310 SF of manufacturing and office space on the first floor. The second floor provides an additional 67,320 SF dedicated to a mechanical penthouse and more office space. The building is constructed with ThermoMass® insulated structural concrete tilt wall panels, complemented by curtain wall and storefront glass systems with integrated sunshades for energy efficiency and visual appeal.

Phase two of the project rises to 70 feet tall, with 53,990 SF of manufacturing space on the first floor. The second floor includes 45,100 SF of additional manufacturing and office space, while the third floor houses a 49,720 SF mechanical penthouse. The exterior is built with insulated architectural precast wall panels, along with curtain wall and storefront glass systems. It is also equipped with sunshades for added climate control and sustainability.
