Our design-build methodology offers the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of a project from preliminary design and concept development to construction, closeout, and every stage in-between. ARCO provides Interns and Co-ops with the knowledge and resources to take on their own tasks and make meaningful contributions to a project’s success.
Project Manager Intern & Co-op Responsibilities
- Solicit bids from subcontractors
- Maintain weekly project progress reports
- Complete take-off drawings
- Participate in estimate review meetings
- Complete project estimates
- Evaluate subcontractor bids
- Compose project schedules
- Compose owner pay applications
- Compose project bid instructions
- Compose project outline specifications
- Review design drawings
- Review project submittals
- Participate in owner/client meetings
- Participate in design meetings
- Complete earthwork take-off drawings
- Visit jobsite(s) with Project Manager

With offices in major markets nationwide, ARCO interns and Co-ops can potentially work close to home and/or school. Although our Interns and Co-ops occasionally travel with Project Managers to gain experience in the field, they are never asked to relocate to a jobsite.
