AIRPLANE HANGAR RENOVATION IN FORT WORTH, TX

Under construction for International Aerospace Coatings, this project is a 46,000 total-square-foot airplane hangar renovation.

This project consists of two side-by-side airplane hangar renovations totaling approximately 46,000 SF. The scope focuses on upgrading mechanical systems, lighting, and structural support to meet current aviation maintenance and operational requirements.

Mechanical improvements include installation of new exhaust fans and make-up air units designed to provide five air changes per hour, improving ventilation and air quality within the hangar environment. Existing infrared heaters and lighting systems are being removed and replaced with upgraded systems.

Lighting upgrades include installation of explosion-proof LED fixtures designed to deliver approximately 93 foot-candles of illumination, supporting maintenance activities and safety requirements. Structural work includes installation of a galvanized rooftop steel platform to support new HVAC equipment, along with interior steel supports for ductwork, ensuring proper distribution and long-term system performance.
