Flight Training Facility in Wichita, KS

Designed and built for FlightSafety International, this project is a 195,000 SF flight training facility.

This 195,000 SF flight training facility includes ten classrooms, five advanced flight training device rooms, multiple graphic flight simulator rooms, briefing rooms, offices, and computer labs. The building features a 25' clear height in the aircraft hangar with a 120'x23' horizontally hinged hangar door, allowing for efficient aircraft movement.

Classrooms are acoustically controlled to support a focused training environment. The facility is equipped with a full mock-up workshop and a composite lab for hands-on technical training.

A fully integrated building management system controls energy use, lighting, access, video surveillance, and communications. The hangar includes direct taxiway access to the Beechcraft manufacturing facility for streamlined aircraft movement and operational efficiency.
