PHARMACEUTICAL COLD STORAGE FACILITY TENANT IMPROVEMENT IN FONTANA, CA
Designed and built for DHL Supply Chain, this project is a 30,000-total-square-foot pharmaceutical cold storage facility tenant improvement.
The renovation of a 30,000 SF warehouse and cold storage space within an existing 830,000 SF facility was designed to enhance functionality and efficiency. This project includes a 10,000 SF cooler capable of maintaining temperatures between 36°F and 46°F, ideal for preserving temperature-sensitive goods. The design features a 32-foot clear height for expanded vertical storage and 50-foot column spacing to improve operational flexibility.
A cutting-edge rooftop transcritical CO2 refrigeration system was installed, ensuring sustainable and energy-efficient cooling. Additionally, the renovation includes a 2,500 SF office space to support administrative and operational tasks, making this facility both practical and high-performing.
