This 193,810 SF, 15-story boutique hotel project in downtown Long Beach is a AAA Four-Diamond renovation that transforms a historic landmark into a modern luxury destination. Featuring 185 luxury guestrooms and suites, the project included a meticulous restoration of the building’s historic exterior façade, intricate bas-relief, ornate lobby ceiling, a World War II-era cupola-mounted pillbox, and the iconic arcade hallway.

Inside, the entire building underwent a full gut and abatement, making way for the installation of energy-efficient mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Custom energy-efficient aluminum windows with historically accurate profiles were installed to preserve the building’s original character while meeting modern standards. Code-compliant staircases and four new elevators, including one gurney-sized elevator, were also added to enhance functionality.

Amenities include a variety of high-end spaces designed to elevate the guest experience. The hotel features 13,375 SF of dining and beverage areas, including the historic 4,140 SF Sky Room bar and restaurant. Event needs are met with 11,375 SF dedicated to banquet, meeting, and event spaces, while retail offerings occupy 9,300 SF of the property. Wellness amenities include a 7,800 SF spa, gym, and relaxation area, complemented by a 4,000 SF pool deck, a 2,800 SF rooftop terrace and bar, and a 1,770 SF second-floor amenity terrace, creating a comprehensive hospitality experience.
