Green Man Brewery

Designed and Built for Green Man Brewery, this project is a 15,000 total square foot craft brewery expansion.

The 15,000 SF expansion project for this craft brewery not only increases brewing capacity from 2,500 barrels per year to a substantial 15,000 barrels but also redefines the facility to optimize operational efficiency and visitor engagement. A key part of the expansion is the new 3,800 SF fermenting and brite tank area, which is essential for high-volume production, complemented by a 9,370 SF storage and distribution area that enhances inventory management and expedites the delivery process. To support the scaling operation, dedicated bottling lines, packaging areas, and a fully-equipped truck dock have been incorporated, allowing the brewery to seamlessly manage larger batches and meet growing distribution demands.

To elevate the visitor experience, the project includes a thoughtfully designed 725 SF outdoor patio and a 1,345 SF bar, offering an immersive environment for guests to enjoy the brewery’s unique offerings. The 1,285 SF tasting room serves as a central feature, where patrons can sample the latest brews, fostering a sense of community and engagement. Additional back-of-house support functions span 2,735 SF, ensuring a well-coordinated, efficient operation that supports both production and guest-facing areas.

Executed as a comprehensive design/build project, the expansion encompassed all civil, architectural, structural, and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) scopes, ensuring each aspect was tailored to align with the brewery’s specific functional requirements. This strategic expansion positions the brewery for future growth and market competitiveness, balancing operational demands with an inviting, memorable guest experience.
