ARCO’s Cincinnati office is proud to continue its partnership with repeat client Rumpke Waste & Recycling on the design and construction of a new waste facility in Effingham, Illinois. This project supports Rumpke’s landfill operations and reinforces ARCO’s experience in delivering reliable facilities for waste management and industrial clients.
Located off Highway 33 in Effingham County, IL, the new site features:
- 5,200 SF Heavy Equipment Maintenance Building with 425 SF Office Space
- Drive-through and Drive-in Bays for Heavy Equipment
- Scale House with 800 SF Office Space
- Wheel Wash Stations
- Exterior Wash Bay
The facility incorporates pre-engineered metal buildings and concrete foundations to meet the unique demands and weight requirements of the modern waste management site.
This Effingham project is the fourth major collaboration between ARCO Cincinnati and Rumpke Waste & Recycling. Recent projects include:
- A 42,612 SF Waste Transfer Station in Union Township, Clermont County, Ohio
- A 66,200 SF Office & Maintenance Building and Site Maintenance Garage at Rumpke’s headquarters in Colerain Township, Ohio (currently under construction)
- A 76,400 SF, 2-building Maintenance Facility Renovation and Material Recovery Expansion in Cincinnati, Ohio (currently under construction)
