ARCO National Construction has completed an 81,286-square-foot multi-unit warehouse storage facility renovation for WareSpace in Brentwood, Maryland. The project redeveloped an existing multi-tenant commercial warehouse and office building into a modern micro-warehouse facility designed to support flexible storage and workspace solutions.
The renovated facility includes 78,459 square feet of warehouse space and 2,827 square feet of office space. The project involved full interior demolition to reconfigure the building into tenant-ready units aligned with WareSpace’s micro-warehouse concept.
The facility features nine dock positions, two drive-in ramps, and two building entries to support efficient loading and operational access. The warehouse is equipped with high-bay LED lighting and a racking wall system incorporating uprights, beams, shelving, sheet metal wall panels, diamond plates, and trim.
Additional improvements included upgrades and modifications to existing fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and fire alarm systems to meet the facility’s updated operational requirements. Exterior enhancements included facility painting and repairs, a new asphalt overlay, and installation of new dock overhead doors and equipment.
The completed project supports WareSpace’s continued expansion, providing adaptable industrial space for small and growing businesses in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
