ARCO National Construction has completed a 90,000-square-foot multi-unit warehouse storage facility renovation for WareSpace in Alexandria, Virginia. The project transformed an existing industrial property into a modern micro-warehouse facility designed to provide flexible storage and workspace solutions for small and growing businesses throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
The renovated facility includes 7,000 square feet of office space within an existing CMU structure. Designed to support a variety of tenant needs, the building features a 19-foot clear height, 19 dock positions, and one drive-in ramp to facilitate efficient loading and distribution operations.
The facility is equipped with 800 amp electrical service, high-bay LED lighting, and 60 parking spaces. As part of the renovation, ARCO installed a racking wall system featuring uprights, beams, shelving, sheet metal wall panels, diamond plates, and trim to create flexible, tenant-ready units throughout the building.
Additional improvements included upgrades and modifications to existing fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and fire alarm systems to support the facility’s updated operational requirements. Exterior enhancements included facility painting and repairs to improve the building’s appearance and long-term performance.
The completed project supports WareSpace’s continued expansion of its micro-warehouse concept, providing adaptable industrial space designed to serve entrepreneurs, contractors, e-commerce operators, and other small businesses in the Northern Virginia market.
