ARCO’s Cleveland division recently completed a new, state-of-the-art 156,000 SF cold storage facility located in the Opportunity Corridor for repeat client, Weston Development, Inc. The state-of-the-art public refrigerated facility, located at 2777 East 75th Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44104, provides easy access to I-77 and I-490.
The initiative to provide temperature-controlled space for local regional, national, and international processors, distributors, and grocers is already proving successful, with more than 50 percent of the facility’s space rented to local companies including Orlando Baking Company and Arlington Valley Farms. These companies had previously sought out alternative markets.
The facility features a 122,000 SF -10°F freezer divisible for multiple tenants, 20,000 SF 34°F cold dock, 10,000 SF maintenance and battery charging area, and 4,000 SF office. Additional facility features include ALTA refrigeration penthouse units, 36’ clear height, and 16 dock positions.
The facility is projected to bring approximately 70 new jobs to the region.
