ARCO National Construction recently joined Grundfos, local officials, and project partners to celebrate the groundbreaking of a new 123,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Brookshire, Texas. The project marks a significant expansion of Grundfos’ production footprint and supports the company’s continued growth in the U.S. market.
Grundfos is a global leader in advanced water technology and pump solutions, serving a wide range of applications across water utilities, industries, buildings, agriculture, and residential markets. The new Brookshire facility will further strengthen Grundfos’ manufacturing capabilities and support the company’s mission to deliver efficient, reliable, and sustainable water solutions. This facility marks ARCO’s second project for Grundfos, following the successful delivery of the company’s 41,205-square-foot, LEED-certified Regional Headquarters in Lenexa, Kansas.
Once complete, the new manufacturing facility will include specialized manufacturing and testing infrastructure designed to support Grundfos’ operations, including two underground pump test pits and coordinate measuring machine rooms. The building will feature insulated tilt panel construction, 23-foot clear heights, two dock positions, four drive-in doors, two 3,000-amp electrical services, an ESFR fire protection system, an 80-mil TPO RhinoBond roof system, and a pier foundation.
ARCO is providing design-build services for the project, continuing the company’s commitment to delivering complex industrial and manufacturing facilities across the country. With extensive experience in advanced manufacturing environments, ARCO’s integrated design-build approach will support the project’s technical requirements while providing single-source accountability, cost certainty, and schedule efficiency from concept through completion.
