Designed and built for ABC Laboratories, this project is a 45,000-square-foot bio-safety level II laboratory facility.

The 45,000 SF bio-safety level II lab space is designed to meet the highest standards of safety and functionality in laboratory environments. This facility includes 6,000 SF of secure stability chamber labs, ensuring that sensitive materials are stored under optimal conditions. Both FDA and DEA approvals confirm compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring that the laboratories can handle a variety of controlled substances safely. In addition to the primary lab areas, the facility features 5,000 SF of built-in expansion lab space, allowing for future growth and adaptability as project demands evolve. The 25,000 SF of Class A office space supports administrative functions and enhances collaboration among staff.

The design-build project emphasizes sustainable practices with "Green Practices" integrated throughout the facility. Each laboratory is equipped with 24 modular and interchangeable analytical stations, enhancing versatility and efficiency in research operations. High-efficiency hot water boilers, two rotary chillers, and two freezer coolers maintain precise temperature controls essential for laboratory integrity.

Four stability chambers and a mass spectrometer lab further enhance the facility's capabilities, supporting a wide range of scientific research and analysis. Laboratory spaces are outfitted with fume hoods, a deionized water system, and seamless flooring, all designed to facilitate clean and efficient operations.

The data center, telecommunications room, and computer room feature raised access flooring, allowing for easy management of utilities and connectivity. To ensure the safety of personnel and sensitive materials, the facility is protected by an ECARO-25 gas fire suppression system and a regulatory-approved security system, guaranteeing a secure and reliable working environment. This facility exemplifies advanced design and functionality, making it an ideal space for cutting-edge research and development in the life sciences industry.
