ARCO National Construction has completed a multi-unit warehouse storage facility renovation for WareSpace in Downers Grove, Illinois. The project included 31,821 square feet of renovations within an existing 71,426-square-foot CMU and brick building, delivering upgraded warehouse and office space designed to support flexible industrial storage use.
The renovated facility consists of 25,621 square feet of warehouse space and 6,200 square feet of office space. Building features include a 24-foot clear height, three dock positions, one drive-in ramp, four building entries, and high-bay LED lighting.
As part of the renovation scope, ARCO installed a racking wall system featuring uprights, beams, shelving, sheet metal wall panels, diamond plates, and trim. Additional work included upgrades and modifications to existing fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and fire alarm systems. Exterior improvements consisted of facility painting and repairs.
Construction activities were coordinated to allow for ongoing operations within the existing portion of the facility throughout the renovation process.
