ARCO's partnership with Tampa Family Health Centers includes 19 projects totaling approximately 262,180 SF across various community health centers. These facilities provide a wide range of services such as family medicine, women’s health/obstetrics & gynecology, phlebotomy, neurology, behavioral health, radiology, dental care, adult and pediatric care, urgent care, and pharmacy services. The construction scope spans new build-to-suit facilities as well as renovations including a remodeled police station and the conversion of an abandoned auto dealership, earning a LEED certification. One notable project is a medical technician training center featuring classrooms, mock exam rooms, skilled labs, pharmacy labs, offices, a computer lab, and student common areas.
Construction highlights include masonry walls with steel framing, seashell-finished precast panels, and an exterior facade incorporating cast stone veneer, burnished and glazed block, metal panels, stucco, and aluminum storefront windows. Other architectural features include a clerestory lobby with an integral roof canopy, curved curtain wall windows, and aluminum composite metal accents.
The facilities are equipped with new MEP systems and designed with energy efficiency in mind. These projects emphasize high-quality craftsmanship and modern functionality to support Tampa Family Health Centers' mission of delivering accessible healthcare services to the community.
