ARCO National Construction’s Southern California division recently completed construction of a new 67,160-square-foot cold storage facility for Regent Cold Storage in Vernon, CA. The state-of-the-art facility features a 40,377-square-foot -10°F freezer, a 6,972-square-foot dry warehouse, a 1,919-square-foot 35°F cooler, a 1,914-square-foot 45°F cooler, and blast freezing capabilities that can cool products from 40°F to 10°F within 48 hours. Additional features include a CO₂ refrigeration system, a 45°F cold dock, insulated metal panel construction, and a 48-foot clear height.
As Regent Cold Storage expands its footprint, the new facility positions the company to better serve a wide range of industries throughout Southern California. The additional capacity and modern systems are designed to meet the region’s growing demand for high-quality cold storage and distribution, supporting both regional food producers and national supply chains.
