Designed and Built for Mill Creek Self Storage, this project is a 36,720 total square foot, 3-story self storage facility.

This 36,720 SF, three-story self-storage facility combines innovative design, durable materials, and smart technology to deliver a modern storage experience. Its structure features light gauge metal framing with slab-on-metal decking, ensuring strength and resilience in a high-use environment. The exterior facade integrates insulated metal panels and CMU (concrete masonry units), providing both enhanced thermal insulation and robust security for the entire facility. These construction materials, along with carefully selected finishes, make the building energy-efficient and resilient.

Preconstruction services included extensive engineering and permitting efforts to streamline the project’s progress. Key infrastructure enhancements such as water, sewer, natural gas, and electrical systems were installed, allowing for optimal functionality. Each of the three buildings is powered by a 600-amp electrical service, supporting a range of tenant and facility needs. Fully conditioned spaces within the storage units maintain stable temperatures, ideal for protecting sensitive items from extreme weather.

The facility incorporates user-friendly, high-tech features, most notably the NOKE Intelligent Door System. This system offers tenants secure, digital access to their units via smartphone, enhancing convenience and security. Inside, energy-efficient radiant flooring provides comfortable heating, reducing energy usage and costs. The storage facility also prioritizes safety, with a comprehensive full-notification fire alarm system installed throughout, ensuring compliance with rigorous fire safety standards.
