ARCO National Construction’s Southern California division is partnering with LA Lucky, a leading local Asian grocery wholesaler and foodservice distributor, on a new 100,465-square-foot cold storage facility in El Monte, California. ARCO recently joined the LA Lucky family to celebrate the start of construction with a demo day event.
Headquartered in Southern California, LA Lucky sources and distributes a variety of Asian packaged foods, frozen seafood, snacks, and specialty items to retailers across the United States. As demand for global food offerings continues to rise, California remains a thriving hub for the Asian grocery market - home to the largest concentration of Asian grocery stores in the country.
The new facility will support LA Lucky’s continued growth and enhance its distribution capabilities. It will include nearly 55,000 square feet of dry warehouse space, more than 17,000 square feet of freezer space, and a state-of-the-art convertible cooler designed to accommodate a range of products.
This facility adds to ARCO’s growing portfolio of cold storage projects across Southern California, where shifting consumer preferences and a thriving food sector continue to fuel demand for modern temperature-controlled infrastructure.
