FSI Shark Tank

Designed and Built for FSI Shark Tank, this project is a 30,630 total square foot ice rink facility renovation.

This 30,630 SF ice rink facility renovation project transformed an existing warehouse into a modern, high-performance venue designed to meet the needs of both athletes and spectators. One of the key aspects of the renovation involved the removal of six structural steel columns to create an impressive 90-foot clear span, allowing for an unobstructed regulation-size ice rink (85’ x 200’). The rink is reinforced with sturdy perimeter boards and a combination of 4-foot and 6-foot glass for enhanced safety and clear sightlines, making it suitable for both practice and competitive events.

The facility includes six team locker rooms, a dedicated referee locker room, a women’s locker room, and an exercise room to accommodate the rigorous demands of athletes. For spectators, a warming area and an elevated viewing platform were added, providing comfortable spaces with excellent visibility of the rink. The renovation also enhanced the office and public areas, with a rink manager's office, an executive board room, a retail hockey store, and public restrooms, all finished with a professional yet welcoming design.

Equipped with a complete PA and speaker sound system, this ice rink facility is optimized for various events and training activities, providing clear, immersive audio throughout the space. This comprehensive renovation not only elevates the functionality of the venue but also enhances the experience for players, staff, and fans alike, ensuring it serves as a top-tier facility for years to come.
