ARCO National Construction recently completed a state-of-the-art 167,500 SF cold storage facility renovation and expansion for repeat client Performance Food Group! Located in Houma, Louisiana, the newly expanded facility enhances Performance Food Group’s personalized services for restaurant and hospitality customers across Louisiana and Mississippi.
The expansion added a 75,100 SF warehouse, as well as updated cold storage capabilities including a 38,800 SF -10 F freezer, a 24,300 SF 28 F- 55 F cooler, and an 18,000 SF 40 F cold dock. Additional facility features include an 11,300 SF battery charging station, 32’ clear height, 22 dock positions, and an industrial freon refrigeration system.
The existing facility was able to remain fully operational during the construction project.
With a partnership spanning more than 20 years, this is just one of more than 35 projects ARCO and Performance Food Group have partnered to complete.
