ARCO National Construction recently completed a new distribution facility for Zippy Shell Incorporated, a portable storage and moving services company, in Londonderry, New Hampshire. Designed and constructed to support the client’s expanding operations, the 100,000-square-foot facility addresses the growing demand for Zippy Shell’s services - including long-distance moves and local storage - following the company’s merger with 1-800-PACK-RAT in 2018.
“This new facility in Londonderry marks a significant milestone in Zippy Shell’s continued market growth and commitment to delivering best-in-class portable storage and moving solutions nationwide,” said Mark Kuhns, Chief Executive Officer for Zippy Shell. “This location will enhance our logistics capabilities and better serve our customers across the Boston and greater New England region.”
The facility includes 1,500 square feet of office space, 32-foot clear height, six dock positions, and two drive-in ramps. These features were designed to optimize logistics capabilities and enhance overall operational efficiency.
ARCO has served as a trusted partner to Zippy Shell since 2021, supporting their expansion across the U.S. The team is currently working with Zippy Shell on two additional projects: a 125,400-square-foot facility in Tampa, Florida and a 71,550-square-foot facility in San Jose, California.
