Intermodal Cargo Facility at CVG International Airport in Hebron, KY
Designed and built for Aeroterm, this project is a 50,000 SF intermodal cargo facility.
This 50,000 SF multi-tenant intermodal cargo facility is located on a redeveloped site at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. Designed for future growth, the facility is expandable to 120,000 SF, with a pre-surcharged expansion pad installed during Phase I to accelerate future development timelines.
The building includes a 1,600 SF service bay for a confidential client and 6,700 SF of office space. Constructed with insulated precast wall panels and structural steel framing, the facility provides a 24' clear height and features an FM I-60 rated roof assembly.
Interior and exterior LED lighting is installed throughout. Material handling equipment and conveyor systems were fully coordinated as part of the build. The project includes a GSE-rated concrete apron and an integrated airport security system. Perimeter secured by approximately 700 linear feet of 10’ high AOA fencing. LEED v4 certification is being pursued.
