DISTRIBUTION FACILITY
Designed and built for Zippy Shell, this project is a 100,000 total square foot distribution facility.
The 100,000 SF distribution facility was developed for Zippy Shell to support their growing logistics operations in the region. The facility includes a 1,500 SF office space designed to accommodate administrative and operational functions. With a 32-foot clear height and 60’ x 60’ column spacing, the building provides optimal storage capacity and flexible racking configurations.
The design features six dock positions and two drive-in ramps to ensure efficient loading and unloading for diverse fleet operations. A 2,000-amp electrical service supports modern material handling systems, while LED lighting with motion sensors promotes energy efficiency. The site includes 5,000 SF of exterior storage, 100 car parking spaces, and two dedicated electric vehicle charging stations. Site development also incorporated 800 linear feet of retaining walls to maximize usable space on the challenging topography.
This facility delivers a functional and scalable solution tailored to Zippy Shell’s distribution needs.
