Topgolf

Designed and built for Topgolf, this project is a 70,000 square foot premier golf and entertainment complex in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

This project consists of an approximately 70,000 SF premier golf and entertainment complex developed on a 16.5-acre site. The facility includes approximately 20,000 SF of high-end bar and restaurant space integrated into a large-scale recreational venue. The complex features 102 hitting bays utilizing RFID technology to provide instantaneous ball location and performance feedback, supporting a technology-driven user experience.

The outfield includes ten target structures constructed of concrete and heavy-gauge corrugated metal, each designed with manhole access for maintenance. An automated ball distribution system services every hitting bay. The facility is fully supported with robust data and electrical infrastructure designed to accommodate 230 televisions, 102 gaming consoles, and 102 infrared heaters.

Interior and exterior finishes include wood ceiling elements, wood veneer tile, stacked stone, and other high-end architectural features. The layout incorporates VIP lounges and protected hitting bays to support premium guest experiences and year-round operation. The project was delivered as a full design-build, including civil, structural, and MEP scopes, and was engineered to support high occupancy loads, advanced technology systems, and long-term operational durability.
