ARCO National Construction recently completed a 92,590 SF cold storage facility expansion for repeat client Performance Food Group (PFG) in Omaha, Nebraska. The project increases PFG’s capacity to serve customers throughout Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa.
Key features include a 26,908 SF -10°F freezer, a 22,216 SF 34°F cooler, a 22,216 SF 40°F cold dock, a 9,020 SF box-in-box cold dock, a 14,134 SF vehicle maintenance facility, and a 1,970 SF mezzanine.
The expansion also included an additional 2,500-amps of electrical service, 14 new dock positions, an ammonia refrigeration system, and a renovation of the existing office space.
This marks one of more than 40 projects ARCO has completed for PFG over the past two decades and reflects a continued commitment to delivering best-in-class cold storage facilities.
