Designed and built for NorthBridge, this project is a 20,000-square-foot freight expansion project for a confidential end user.

This project consists of an approximately 20,000 SF freight expansion designed to increase dock capacity, maintenance operations, and fleet support functions within an active facility. The scope includes a 10,000 SF dock expansion, a 10,000 SF truck maintenance area, and a 1,000 SF dock office pod and maintenance shop, all coordinated to maintain uninterrupted operations during construction.

The truck maintenance area includes a wash bay, lube distribution system, office space, and tractor trailer service bays, supporting daily fleet maintenance and repair needs. The expansion is constructed as a pre-engineered metal building with a precast concrete dock pod, supported by continuous footings with stem walls and pilasters.

Dock operations are expanded with twenty-one new dock doors equipped with edge-of-dock levelers, improving freight handling capacity and throughput. Building systems include a 1,200-amp electrical service, standing seam metal roof system, and infrastructure for thirty-five forklift chargers. The project was engineered to expand freight and maintenance capabilities while maintaining ongoing operations in the existing facility.
