Designed and built for New England Cold Storage, this warehouse is a 120,000-square-foot cold storage distribution facility.
This 120,000 SF cold storage facility is designed to support high-volume food distribution and long-term temperature stability. The building includes roughly 100,000 SF of -10°F convertible storage along with a dedicated 35°F cold dock to streamline product receiving and outbound movement.
Refrigeration is supported by six ALTA EXPERT systems engineered for consistent low-temperature performance and energy-efficient operation. The racking layout provides 24,472 pallet positions, split between 16,424 mobile positions and 8,048 static positions, allowing flexible storage configurations across multiple product types.
The overall configuration is built to maximize throughput while maintaining strict cold-chain requirements. System design, structural layout, and equipment coordination focus on durability, efficient workflow, and dependable environmental control for year-round operation.
