ARCO COMPLETES SUSTAINABLE FACILITY FOR GRUNDFOS

ARCO’s Kansas City office recently completed a new 45,000 SF regional headquarters for Grundfos, a global leader in advanced pump solutions. Located in Lenexa, KS, the facility was carefully designed and built to reflect the company’s efforts toward sustainability, incorporating green construction details and mindfully reducing negative impacts on the environment.

The facility features an energy efficient mechanical system including energy recovering ventilation, supplemental heating/cooling with ground source heat pump and geothermal wells. To add to the innovative design, the building also utilizes one of the company’s own pumps.

A variety of unique features make this facility truly state-of-the-art. There is an expansive lobby/showroom, open office space, multiple conference and breakout rooms, a call center for national technical support and a separate space for warehousing and distribution. Common areas include a recreation room complete with a basketball court, employee gym and soundproof rooms for recording training videos and webinars.
